Review Touchscreen Business Phone – Sony Ericsson XPERIA 1

Sony Ericsson “XPERIA 1″ the first business phone by Sony Ericsson which uses the Windows Mobile 6.1 operating system, the phone is ready to hit the market and expected to be released by the end of october. Not only its the first business phone from sony ericsson but it is also the first touchscreen phone with a overlaying Qwerty keypad which emerges when the user slides the touchscreen face upwards.

Verizon Wireless today announce Blackberry Storm, a phone with touch screen and is being called an iPhone competitor.

BASKING RIDGE, NJ, NEWBURY, England, and WATERLOO, Ontario — Verizon Wireless, Vodafone Group (NYSE and LSE: VOD) and Research In Motion (RIM) (NASDAQ: RIMM; TSX: RIM) today announced that the BlackBerry® Storm™ will be available later this fall, exclusively to Verizon Wireless customers in the U.S. and Vodafone customers in Europe, India, Australia and New Zealand.

Blackberrry Storm features a 3.25-inch touch screen which is responsive just like the iPhone. Unlike iPhone, the touch screen for Blackberry comes with an added feature of confirmation before launching an application or initiating any process during which the full screen becomes a large button that confirms a user’s selecting when pressed, while in iPhone it just swipe or errant tap can launch an application or action.”Consumers and business customers alike will appreciate this unique combination of a large and vibrant screen with a truly tactile touch interface,” said RIM co-chief executive Mike Lazaridis. Nokia’s TouchScreen cellPhone Nokia Tube (5800 XpressMusic)

As we covered previously after iPhone HTC Diamond was expected to the iPhone competitor but now Nokia has also stepped up and it has been confirmed that this October Nokia will be launching its first touchscreen cell phone named “Nokia 5800 XpressMusic” code named “Tube”.

The touchScreen technology is becoming very common in cell phones and the consumer demand for the technology has also increase massively. Within the last 2 weeks we have seen three new touchscreen phones announced first it was HTC Diamond then Google G1 and now Nokia 5800.

What makes Nokia 5800 so Special

The new Nokia 5800 have a 3.2-inch touchscreen display with 16 Million colors with a 3.2 Mega Pixel auto focus camera with dual LED Flash and 30 FPS VGA recording. The phone will be on a quad-band (850/900/1800/1900Mhz) GSM/EDGE radio with 3G UMTS/HSDPA, Bluetooth 2.0, WiFi. (more…)

T-Mobile G1 Reviews Google’s First Android powered cell phone

T-Mobile releases the worlds first Android powered phone called T-Mobile G1, G1 seems like the Google 1. The phone is available for $179 with a two year contract from T-Mobile. For Europe the sales will begin in November & early 2009.

iPhone tobe available in Canada

President and Chief Executive Officer of Rogers Communications Inc. today issued the following statement:

We’re thrilled to announce that we have a deal with Apple to bring the iPhone to Canada later this year. We can’t tell you any more about it right now, but stay tuned.

May 21′s is expected to be the launch day of iPhone ins Canada. No price or package information has been released.
