Google with a new Favicon for 2009
Posted by zee on January 10th, 2009 1 Comment »Google today announced via their blog a new favicon inspired by user generated icons & the credit goes to AndrĂ© Resende, a computer science undergraduate student at the University of Campinas in Brazil, submitted the design that inspired their new favicon.

So now we have to see how the public reacts, I remember the last time they change people rejected it quite quickly and there were tools, tips and tricks posted on how to revert back to the old favicon, but lets see what cooks up this time. So how do you like the new Google Favicon ?

I think this one is much better, it’s easier to difference from the other pages in my bookmarks. The old one was awful, and that’s why it lasted just 8 months!!
