BBsnap a very simple and a free web application dedicated to create or get some really cool wallpapers for a blackberry phone.

The one thing i like about it is its simplicity and cleaness, if you try to Google for wallpapers you will definitely end up on a huge chunk of web that claims to provide wallpapers for your phone but of course over crowded with ads, pop ups and most of the collection of wallpapers having bikini girls all around.

The never ending list of passwords, in today’s era is an element of concern, where ever you go around the internet there is a password to get along, facebook, ftp, emails, IM’s all have passwords and our list of passwords keeps on growing. We can’t keep a single password to all application’s neither did OpenId added any benefit to it so now its time to get hold of password managers. A password manager that takes one last password to manage all passwords, lets introduce LastPass.

As the name says “LastPass” a great application to manage your passwords. Every place we go we are expected to log in and with the passing time managing passwords itself is getting a hectic problem it’s difficult to remember passwords from all around the net.

Install different Versions of Internet Explorer

If you are a web designer or a web developer, the word cross browser testing always come up and the cross browser testing in IE always pop up as IE have multiple versions and according to W3schools in August 2008

  • 26% users use Internet Explorer7
  • 24% users use Internet Explorer 6
  • 0.1% user use Internet Explorer 5
  • 43% users use Firefox

For firefox we don’t have much issues cause the browser updates automatically and usually the users are using the new version but for IE the different version is a problem as the those using IE are usually using Windows where browser is the core functionality of the operating system.

How to install different versions of Internet Explorer.

A very handy tool called Internet Explorer Collection offers you the ability to install and use different versions of Internet explorer at the same time.  The package is freeware with a size of 42.4 MB, 44.561.338 bytes, just download the package and you can select the versions of standalone Internet explorer you would like to install, so far they are providing the following versions of Internet Explorer. read more

Verizon Wireless today announce Blackberry Storm, a phone with touch screen and is being called an iPhone competitor.

BASKING RIDGE, NJ, NEWBURY, England, and WATERLOO, Ontario — Verizon Wireless, Vodafone Group (NYSE and LSE: VOD) and Research In Motion (RIM) (NASDAQ: RIMM; TSX: RIM) today announced that the BlackBerry® Storm™ will be available later this fall, exclusively to Verizon Wireless customers in the U.S. and Vodafone customers in Europe, India, Australia and New Zealand.

Nokia’s TouchScreen cellPhone Nokia Tube (5800 XpressMusic)

As we covered previously after iPhone HTC Diamond was expected to the iPhone competitor but now Nokia has also stepped up and it has been confirmed that this October Nokia will be launching its first touchscreen cell phone named “Nokia 5800 XpressMusic” code named “Tube”.

The touchScreen technology is becoming very common in cell phones and the consumer demand for the technology has also increase massively. Within the last 2 weeks we have seen three new touchscreen phones announced first it was HTC Diamond then Google G1 and now Nokia 5800.

What makes Nokia 5800 so Special

Google Celebrating its birthday with a time line

Google happens to become a trendsetter for the industry, in the past i never heard Microsoft or even Apple celebrating there birthday, neither did Yahoo made any such attempts but when we come to Google there is always some fun things going around.

I am not sure the exact date but September is when they celebrate and this year they did it with there tenth anniversary special page, a page with some facts & figures on Google and link to the time line showing milestones, culture & products launched by Google and when. Seems a nice way. read more

T-Mobile releases the worlds first Android powered phone called T-Mobile G1, G1 seems like the Google 1. The phone is available for $179 with a two year contract from T-Mobile. For Europe the sales will begin in November & early 2009.

Top 5 New MacBook Air Pictures & Concept Designs

Is Apple going to come up with Mac Tablet or commonly known as MacBook Touch. The rumor is on and i think it might be true, many clues have been detected such as a job for QA tester for “iPod and Mac Touch Interfaces” on Apples website which was quickly removed from the website, later a number of Mac Sites pointed to a U.S. Patent application granted for what would appear to be the mythical Mac Tablet. MacDailyNews also received a tip from an anonymous source who previously leaked information about Apple’s Wireless iTunes store week before the company debuted it. So is the Mac Tablet or MacBook Touch really coming to life.

Well so far the BUZZ is around and we might be able to see the new MacBook Touch by the end of this year, so how will the new Mac look? There are bunch on concept designs / pictures of MacBook roaming around the internet so lets take a sneak peak into these leaked or concept designs for the new MacBook Touch.
