The new iPhone 3g had glitches, customers around the globe had complained about dropped calls & connection issues with 3G networks. Such issues were mainly targeted when calls were handed off from a 3g network to slower network.

Apple’s iPhone is ranked #3 in smart phone market world wide and have a worldwide share of6.5% which is huge in terms as iPhone is only available in USA & UK only. Apple’s products have really picked up pace and in the first quarter of 2008 apple made a net profit of $1.58 billion .
