As we covered previously after iPhone HTC Diamond was expected to the iPhone competitor but now Nokia has also stepped up and it has been confirmed that this October Nokia will be launching its first touchscreen cell phone named “Nokia 5800 XpressMusic” code named “Tube”.

Steve Jobs at WWDC 2008 announced the new iPhone 3G, combined with all the revolutionary features of iPhone with 3G networking, built-in GPS, and iPhone 2.0 software that supports Microsoft Exchange ActiveSync and runs hundreds of third party applications built with the iPhone SDK.

So whats new with the iPhone 3G, well iPhone 3G the next version from Apple have worked out on improving a bunch of stuff, its more thinner, solid metal buttons, gorgeious display, camera, flush headphone jacks and improved audio. Google released a new beta release of Google RSS reader for mobile. Mobile browsing has gone a long way but iPhone has gone way ahead. It not only Google RSS reader that have been launched for iPhone but previously Google also launched Google Gmail and other mobile apps specially for iPhone. Looks like iPhone is a new industry standard for who’s market share has grown to such a level that companies like Google convert it products specially for iPhone.

The Google RSS Reader for iPhone is in its beta release and thus to access it from you iPhone you would have to use the URL http://www.google.com/reader/i/ as the RSS reader will not automatically direct you to the iPhone reader version if you access it from you iPhone.

This new version is designed to offer many of the same features as the desktop, while making it quick and easy to act on items. If you’ve used list view, then it should be familiar to you. Scan the titles for an item that interests you, tap and it expands in place. Starring, sharing, and keeping unread are done in place, so you never have to leave the list view or refresh the page. We think it’s a very fast way to power through your reading list.

We’re thrilled to announce that we have a deal with Apple to bring the iPhone to Canada later this year. We can’t tell you any more about it right now, but stay tuned.

Apple’s iPhone is ranked #3 in smart phone market world wide and have a worldwide share of6.5% which is huge in terms as iPhone is only available in USA & UK only. Apple’s products have really picked up pace and in the first quarter of 2008 apple made a net profit of $1.58 billion .

Garmin the GPS maker surprised the cellphone industry by stepping into smart phone market. They annouced to directly compete with iPhone with there version of iPhone called Nuvifone . Completely controlled by a 3.5-inch touchscreen interface, the device centers around GPS unit with a navigation, a Google apps allowed to search local business check traffic and view nearby weather.
